Chief Accountant - Senior Finance Manager

Your responsibilities

• Oversee all general ledger activities and ensure accurate month-end and year-end closings.
• Ensure full compliance with IFRS and Polish statutory accounting standards.
• Manage tax filings, audits, and statutory reporting.
• Supervise and mentor the accounting team.
• Lead and support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
• Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Monitor cost structures and identify efficiency opportunities.
• Collaborate with business units to ensure financial alignment.
• Act as a key liaison with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
• Partner with HR, Procurement, and Operations to ensure financial integrity across processes.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.

Our requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Polish GAAP.
• Experience in controlling or financial planning & analysis.
• Good command of English.
• ACCA qualification or progress toward certification is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
