QA Automation Engineer

Be part of the innovation that is spreading around the world Implement automated tests for backend, frontend and mobile applications Test digital solutions that are developed for the European and MENA Smart City markets Utilize security, performance and monitoring tools to analyze and resolve security and performance related issues Plan and perform exploratory tests to identify weak points and dark areas in various products Apply industry testing standards to ensure robust and solid QA process Support business teams in resolving product-quality issues and inquiries Coach less experienced testers
We’re looking for someone who has:
At least 3 years of experience in software testing in testing web and mobile applications Hands on experience with automated testing Coding skills in Java Practical experience in testing RESTful services and APIs Hands on experience in SQL or no-SQL databases Solid knowledge in designing, writing and executing test scenarios Ability to analyze and create test data, quickly troubleshoot Pragmatic thinking, analytical and problem solving skills Strong verbal and written English skills Track record of working in an Agile team (Scrum, Kanban) We will also appreciate:
Coding skills in Groovy Practical experience with the GIT flow Familiarity with good practices like TDD, BDD and other testing techniques interest and passion for technology and innovation Knowledge of at least one scripting languages e.g. Bash, Python Practical knowledge of performance and security testing Experience with a cloud environment (e.g. AWS) Mentoring experience in training or coaching junior colleagues B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science or related field ISTQB Certificate
