This role will help to translate insights gained from emerging technology companies and regulators, and knowledge from subject-matter experts across Citi, into clear and coherent technology strategies and regulatory advocacy for the firm. The candidate should have a working knowledge across technology, strategy and regulatory affairs. The successful applicant will join a team of approximately 10, mainly US-based, professionals. EMEA Lead for CTO Strategy and Regulatory Advocacy Location: Warszawa 104100 Key Responsibilities:Help drive Citi’s Technology Strategic Planning, with focus on a one- to four-year horizon Contribute to the evaluation of emerging technologies to determine which to focus on, which to experiment with, and which to prepare to leverage at scale - or which to defend against Support the establishment of Citi’s framework for evaluating, classifying, adopting and managing emerging technologies Assist in the engagement of worldwide regulators and policymakers, in partnership with Global Government Affairs, to obtain always up-to-date insights about how authorities are thinking about the potential and risk of emerging technology, which will feed into Citi Digital Policy and Strategies Work with first- and second-line functions across Citi including Operational Risk Management (ORM), Risk & Control, and Anti Money Laundering (AML) to help them stay current on the evolution of the regulatory mindset Perform data quality program governance activities as the delegate Corporate Technology Data Governance Officer Required skills:Bachelor’s degree 7+ years of relevant experience within financial services, including leadership preferred Basic understanding of global financial services organizations, products and processes Familiarity with new and emerging technologies and their applications including Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning, Consumer data access and data aggregation, Cloud Services, Crypto Currencies Awareness of consumer regulations such as KYC, AML, Records Management, GDPR. Prior experience in interaction with regulators is a plus. Excellent communication, interpersonal, influencing, partnership and team-building skills Ability to see complex interrelationships between people, things, and ideas, and how they can be improved Ability to negotiate, be objective, to prioritize, and to give a balanced view Broad strategic, but realistic, results-oriented thinker and doer Proactive, independent and self-managing Positive, energetic and enthusiastic approach We offer:Attractive conditions of employment and benefits.
