Chief Accountant - Senior Finance Manager
Your responsibilities
- Oversee all general ledger activities and ensure accurate month-end and year-end closings.
- Ensure full compliance with IFRS and Polish statutory accounting standards.
- Manage tax filings, audits, and statutory reporting.
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team.
- Lead and support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor cost structures and identify efficiency opportunities.
- Collaborate with business units to ensure financial alignment.
- Act as a key liaison with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
- Partner with HR, Procurement, and Operations to ensure financial integrity across processes.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.
Our requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant role.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and Polish GAAP.
- Experience in controlling or financial planning & analysis.
- Good command of English.
- ACCA qualification or progress toward certification is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
