About the project
We’re hiring an experienced AWS Cloud Architect for our client a USA-based AWS Advanced Tier Consulting Partner specializing in cloud migration, application modernization, and data analytics. You’ll support a variety of cloud-native projects, helping enterprise clients modernize their infrastructure and remove technical debt.
Your responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions on AWS tailored to business needs
- Lead cloud infrastructure design using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
- Define cloud strategy, best practices, and architecture standards for new and existing systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams, and business leaders to translate requirements into robust cloud architectures
- Oversee the implementation of cloud-native services and technologies, ensuring alignment with AWS Well-Architected Framework
- Guide and support DevOps teams in building efficient CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
- Provide technical leadership in designing containerized workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
- Ensure cost-optimization, operational excellence, and security across all AWS environments
- Evaluate new AWS services and technologies, driving innovation and continuous improvement
Our requirements
- 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture and solution design, primarily on AWS (experience with GCP or Azure is a plus)
- Deep knowledge of AWS services, cloud design patterns, and architectural best practices
- Strong experience in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred), automation, and cloud-native design
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, Golang, or Node.js
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration platforms like Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
- Background in building CI/CD solutions and DevOps practices using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience in Agile environments
- Ability to lead architectural discussions, review solutions, and guide development teams through implementation
- English proficiency
