The amount of the unemployment benefit
If you were granted the right to the benefit, its amount depends on the length of the period entitling to the benefit and amounts to:
- during the first three months of entitlement to the benefit:

- 689.12 PLN gross (80% of the benefit), if the period entitling to the benefit is shorter than 5 years,
- 861.40 PLN gross (100% of the benefit), if the period entitling to the benefit is longer than 5 years and shorter than 20 years,
- 1033.68 PLN gross (120% of the benefit), if the period entitling to the benefit is at least 20 years
- during the subsequent months of entitlement to benefit:

- 541.12 PLN gross (80% of the benefit), if the period entitling to the benefit is shorter than 5 years,
- 676.40 PLN gross (100% of the benefit), if the period entitling to the benefit is longer than 5 years and shorter than 20 years,
- 811.68 PLN gross (120% of the benefit), if the period entitling to the benefit is at least 20 years.

When summing up all the period entitling to the benefit, you will know how much and for what period of time you will receive the benefit!
Useful information
The unemployed benefit is paid out monthly in arrears. For an incomplete month, the benefit is calculated by dividing the amount of benefit by 30 and multiplying the resulting figure by the number of calendar days where you were entitled to the benefit in a given month.
Claims for due and uncollected unemployment benefits and other allowances financed from the Labour Fund are barred by limitation after 6 months from the date of making them available.
For the period of receiving the unemployment benefit the labour office will issue tax declaration PIT 11.
