Periods of receiving the unemployment benefit
If you were granted the right to the unemployment benefit, you can receive it for:
180 days – in the case of the unemployed who reside during the period of receiving the benefit within the territory of the district where the unemployment rate in on the June 30th of the year preceding the year of becoming eligible for the benefit did not exceed 150% of the national average unemployment rate,
365 days:
- in the case of the unemployed who reside during the period of receiving the benefit within the territory of the district labour office where the unemployment rate on the June 30th of the year preceding the year of becoming eligible for the benefit did exceed 150% of the national average unemployment rate,
- in the case of the unemployed who are over 50 years of age, with the benefit eligibility period of at least 20 years,
- in the case of an unemployed person who maintains at least one child under the age of 15 years, and his/her spouse is also unemployed and has lost the right to benefit because of expiry of the time for which it was granted after the date that unemployed acquired the right to the benefit,
- who single-handedly maintain at least one child aged up to 15.
In the case of the unemployed who change their registered address while receiving the benefit the period of receiving the benefit remains unchanged.
