Obligations of the employer and the employee
Basic obligations of the employer:
- making new employees familiar with their duties, the methods of work at particular posts and their basic rights,
- proper organization of work,
- counteracting discrimination in employment,
- ensuring safe and hygienic working conditions and providing systematic trainings in the area of work safety and hygiene,
- paying correct remuneration on time,
- supporting employees in their endeavours to improve their vocational qualifications,
- creating for young employees favourable starting work conditions for their adaptation to proper performance at work,
- satisfying, to the extent possible, social needs of employees,
- using objective and just criteria of evaluation of employees and the results of their work,
- keeping records in the matter involving the employment relationship and personal files of employees,
- influencing the establishment of principles of social coexistence at the workplace.
Basic obligations of the employee:
- performing his/her work conscientiously and scrupulously,
- complying with the orders of his/her superiors,
- observing the working time,
- observing the workplace regulations as well as the law and principles of work safety and hygiene, and fire protection,
- caring for the reputation of the workplace, protecting its property and maintaining the confidentiality of information, the disclosure of which can cause damage to the employer,
- maintaining the confidentiality provided for by separate provisions,
- observing the principles of social coexistence at the workplace.
